Nowadays, you can hear Robotics Process Automation everywhere. McKinsey issued a report that suggested as many as 800 million roles would be displaced by RPA by 2030. RPA is not only about cost reduction, most of the roles cannot be fully automated. The benefit is, it can do repetitive tasks more quickly, accurately and tirelessly than humans, so people can focus on value-add activities instead. But many companies are simply not ready for it. The reasons can be different, either the processes are not LEAN (don’t automate broken processes) or just simply cannot afford such an investment. There are five levels of automation:

I believe RPA is great, but there are other alternatives that can bring benefits and requires no initial software investment. Let me show some solutions, that I’ve created:
