Business problem: Approvals are paper based and very time consuming to collect all the signatures. It is hard to report the status of each request and require additional administration.
Solution: Electronic form created with all the mandatory fields, to ensure that required data is available. Two stages workflow created in SharePoint Designer with notification emails to reviewer, once reviewed to approver and once approved to requestor.
Benefit: Electronic automated processes. All the request can be tracked by status in one view and based on the level of position, different permission assigned to requestor group, approval group a processing group.
